THE 39TH ANNUAL GREAT MOTHER AND NEW FATHER CONFERENCE IN MAINE
If you can’t wait for the Minnesota Men’s Conference and/or you want your wife, girlfriend, daughter, mother, sister, etc to experience something similar to what happens at Camp Miller in the Fall, I highly recommend you check out the 39th Annual Great Mother Conference( the birth Mother of the Men’s Conference) this June at Camp Keive in Maine. You will notice that we share a lot of the same teachers including Martin Shaw, Miguel Rivera, Doug Von Koss, Jay Leeming and Tim Frantzich plus many more fine teachers, artists and musicians. Also, children are welcome! ~ Craig Ungerman

Come and be led by the story, and be entwined by the poetry. Honor the wisdom of the hidden depths, and feel the gravity of our bodies guided in dance. Mask yourself in art, and be wrapped in the call of the loons.
The week will be highlighted by daily sections of the story of Eros and Psyche told by Martin Shaw. Doug Von Koss will lead group singing. Alicia Ostriker, Gioia Timpanelli, and Marty Lowenthal will guide us through the meaning of the story. Our Poets: Tony Hoagland, Alicia Ostriker, Coleman Barks, Lisa Starr, and Jay Leeming will carry the poetic traditions while Miguel Rivera holds the sacred space. Janet Fredericks has mask making workshops in mind and Anne Igoe has found ritual and dance for us. Tim Frantzich, Marcus Wise, Bruce Hamm, and Joanna Mack will wiggle us from our seats with music. Sue Littlefield will make sure we are fully stretched and Michael Stocker should take us to the depths of his watery and musical knowledge.
The Conveners and Great Hairs call you on behalf of Robert Bly and what he has created for us. We carry on his vision with honor. Come join your GMC family in the ritual of small engine repair. We are waiting for you.
